Exhibit Space At The Lutheran Center
At Christ Church

The plaza level gallery boasts art exhibits that change four times a year. 2D works displayed in the modest, well-lit space immediately adjacent to the lobby bring joy to the people that work in The Lutheran Center. Some exhibits connect directly to the missions of Lutheran World Relief and Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service. Many exhibits feature area talent representing a variety of themes.

Artists interested in exhibiting at The Lutheran Center may email the Arts Committee with samples of their work in jpeg or pdf files, or via links to work online. Artists are chosen based on the caliber of work, suitability of subject matter, and capacity to prepare their work for professional exhibit.

“Everyone was so kind at The Lutheran Center. I sold a couple pieces of work and received encouraging praise. It is great knowing my work gave someone joy.”
-Artist Ellen Kalin

Exhibits are typically two to three months long. Exhibit hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Typically artists bring 12-15 works depending on sizes. See a diagram of the space to the right.

There is no cost to the artist beyond producing professional quality title cards, artist’s statement, and making sure works are framed and wired to hang. Artists are asked to sign an agreement of mutual responsibilities with The Lutheran Center.

Works may be sold. The Lutheran Center does not manage sales for the artist nor take a commission on sales. Artists are welcome to make a donation.
